Students with a GED diploma/certificate are required to submit their official results.
A transcript of any and all high school work attempted is required in addition to the GED results.
Briefly describe a group, organization, or community that you have been involved with. Describe a situation where you were involved or witness to an act of discrimination. What was your role, what responsibilities did you take on?
Is this a special area of interest for you, and why? Did you encounter any obstacles, and if so how did you respond, were you able to overcome them? Briefly describe a personal goal you have set for yourself.
You can apply to as many as three Rutgers schools on the one application and independent decisions will be made for each school to which you apply. Essay The admissions essay is required of first-year applicants.
Essays must be included in the space provided on the application and submitted on the application form. Be sure to clear any formatting before pasting your essay into the online application.
Students are required to submit SAT or ACT scores if they are currently enrolled in high school, or if they graduated from high school less than two years ago and will not have at least 12 subsequent college credits completed with grades by the application due date.
Rutgers has no preference about which examination a student submits.
