Her first solo publication appeared in the Historian (Winter 2010), "'Work Makes Life Sweet': Germans from Russia Remember Their Childhood." Then, in July 2011 the Journal of Family History published "'More than a Photo': Germans from Russia Remember Their Familial Relationships."
