Create an unassigned copy of an assigned task in Outlook Outlook provides you with a function of creating an unassigned copy of an assigned task. In the Task window, click the Details button in the Show group under Task tab. Then click the Create Unassigned Copy button in the Task window. Then click the OK button in the popping up prompt box. In this step, click the Save & Close button directly to create the copy. Then the unassigned copy is created from the assigned one.With this function, you can edit the assigned task as you need. Get into the Task folder and select your assigned task which you have sent to others. And the original subject will add a word “copy” behind it.
